Lea Harrison, Haven Behavioral Hospital of Albuquerque’s Director of Business Development, Joins the New Mexico State Opioid Task Force

Lea Harrison, Haven Behavioral Hospital of Albuquerque’s Director of Business Development, has recently joined the New Mexico State Opioid Task Force.

The task force is comprised of a diverse group of professionals whose mission is to evaluate and improve the training and resources available for those who treat at-risk individuals.  The group will hold its inaugural meeting later this month but has already begun work focusing the on the positive effects of early education in the fight against opioid abuse.

Ms. Harrison has been with Haven since 2012 and has over 20 years of experience in public relations, strategic planning, healthcare, marketing and brand management and is an active member of the community.  In addition to Opioid Task Force, she is on the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) New Mexico State Board, a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and a certified Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) instructor, which teaches clinical staff non-violent,
de-escalation techniques.
